PYP exhibition

On Thursday October 8th, 4th grade students of Monnet International School started working on the PYP Exhibition – an amazing and last unit in the PYP programme. Two groups were formed: FC Boys and DHS (dogs, horses and sport). Students have chosen the topics of their biggest passions.

They have worked really hard for the eight months. Most of that time they spent online, even though they did lots of different and engaging activities. They looked for information in different sources, interviewed many interesting people, read books and newspapers, wrote articles, recorded films and songs and many more.

Over the process of the Exhibition the students developed various skills: self-management, social, communication, thinking and research. What’s more, they demonstrated all 10 Learner Profile Attributes.

You can read about our activities on our website:

In May, each Exhibition group has organised an action. FC Boys collected football items like: games, clothes, sports equipment for the children in ‘Biały Domek’ Children’s Home in Warsaw. DHS group collected some food, blankets and toys for dogs from the shelter ‘Fundacja Braci Mniejszych’ in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. Students from both groups were very happy to have a possibility of helping others. They demonstrated agency and proved that they are caring towards those who need us the most.

On 28th May, 2021 the Finals of PYP Exhibition took place. We have prepared two presentations about our achievements and also some films with our actions and songs. All invited guests were proud of us, we have received a positive feedback and a lot of praise. That was a thrilling moment for all of us.

The Exhibition was a great success. Although it is over now, it will be in our memories forever!
