When someone mentions sports the first thing that comes to mind is football, basketball, tennis, athletics, swimming etc. Each of these sports have many things in common, including competition, skills, fans, stadiums/arenas, long training hours and dedication. Esports or computer gaming also have these characteristics.
Over the past few years, I have spent many hours practicing to develop my skills, so I could be more competitive when playing against friends or in global tournaments. My favorite computer games are Minecraft, Fortnite and CR (Clash Royale)!
Minecraft develops my creativity, imagination, strategy and combat skills. CR and Fortnite both develop the same skills which are: strategy, competitiveness, decision making and combat skills. Competitiveness helps me develop my need for success. Creativity and imagination help me solve problems in a creative way, strategy helps me think outside the box and decision making helps me to analyse situations and identify the right answer to problems.
Overall, I think my gaming comprehension is at a high level for my age and is continuing to improve, but the most important thing is that I enjoy playing games with my friends and my brother.
